Ministry of Culture and Tourism is getting prepared for an international symposium to promote to the rest of the world more actively the cultural and spiritual values of the historical site where the Gallipoli battles were fought, and to ensure that the national consciousness reaches out to larger masses.
“The International Symposium of Gallipoli Campaign at the 105th Anniversary” to be organized jointly by the Presidency of the Gallipoli Historical Site and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University will bring together many national and international scholars in Çanakkale.
This event, where new academic studies in the international literature will be presented and new perspectives will be discussed, will be held on 16-18 April, 2020.
Researchers and scholars who would like to participate in the Symposium will be able to make their applications at sempozyumcanakkale@gmail.com until the 10th of January.
The topics will include archaeology, geography, educational sciences, economy, journalism and media, fine arts, law, library sciences, museum studies, music, health sciences, history of art, cinema-television, political sciences, sociology, history, tourism, Turkish Language and Literature, Turkish Folklore, international relations and social sciences.
